Lake County PC is a one-technician IT shop serving Cape Cod and the surrounding areas. Thirty years of hands-on experience with PCs, Macs, Wi-Fi, servers, and everything in between — on-site across the Cape, remote anywhere you need us.
If it plugs in, connects to a network, or sends email — Lake County PC can install, repair, secure, or replace it. Clear pricing, careful work, and a neighbor you can actually get on the phone.
Slow startups, failing drives, stuck updates, cracked screens — diagnosed clearly and fixed right the first time.
Pop-ups, ransomware, "Microsoft" scam calls — cleaned up, locked down, and explained in plain English.
Dead zones, buffering, weak signal in the guest room. Proper mesh, access points, and cabling done right.
New office, new rack, new file server — designed sensibly, labeled neatly, documented for the next person.
Dropped laptops, dead drives, "I unplugged the wrong thing." Recovery first, then a backup plan that holds.
Monitoring, patching, vendor wrangling, help-desk on demand — one phone number for everything tech.
Two very different kinds of work, one technician who does both. Residential visits are patient and jargon-free. Commercial work is planned, documented, and scheduled around your operation.
The computer you actually live with — email, photos, taxes, the kids' homework. Let's keep it quietly working.
Downtime costs real money. Get one dependable technician who knows your setup, your people, and your weird legacy printer.
Call, describe the problem in plain English, and we figure out the fastest way to resolve it — a remote session, an on-site visit, or sometimes a five-minute fix over the phone.
Reach a real person. Tell us what's happening — no jargon needed.
A quick phone or remote session to identify the real problem and cost.
Remote, on-site, or after-hours — whatever gets you running fastest.
Backups, monitoring, and a direct line when something new comes up.
Lake County PC is an independent Cape Cod IT shop owned and operated by Jody. The name comes from home — Lake County is the nickname for County Westmeath in Ireland, where Jody grew up. The computers brought him across the Atlantic in the nineties; the approach hasn't changed since.
Show up on time. Listen properly. Fix it right the first time. Stand behind the work. No call center, no ticket number, no upsell — just the same technician you'd hand your laptop to a second time.
On-site service from Falmouth to Provincetown, plus remote support anywhere. If you're in a neighboring town and don't see it listed, give us a call — we cover most of the region.
Most of Lake County PC's business comes by word of mouth. Here's a sample of what folks have said over the years.
"Jody showed up when he said he would, figured out what was wrong in about ten minutes, and charged a fair price. Haven't had a problem with the network since."
"We switched our office to Lake County PC three years ago. One call and things get handled — no tickets, no runaround. He knows our whole setup better than we do."
"I thought I'd lost every photo on my laptop. Jody got them all back and set me up with proper backup. Worth every penny — kind, patient, professional."
If yours isn't here, just call — the fastest way to get a real answer is always on the phone.
